Teacher was messaged by her student, with whom she had a months-long iIIicit relationship, only for her to later admit to abusing her position of trust and getting involved in an inappropriate relationship with the boy after she was arrested by waiting police

Los Angeles, CA – According to the police officials, the 37-year-old educator, later identified as Yesenia, was arrested and later charged with several se-ual assault-related charges after she reportedly confessed to having a months long iIIicit se-ual relationship with a student she met at a school she taught. Not immediately clear is what led to the female educator abusing her position of trust, authority and power and subjugating her teen male victim.
According to the police officials, the investigation process began after the boy, who was not identified due to his age, reported the 37-year-old educator to authorities. During an interview with investigators, the 17-year-old victim reportedly said that he had been having se-ual relationship with his teacher for approximately 6 months.
During the investigation process, authorities learned that the educator was working at the high school for 5 years. The 37-year-old woman was arrested and taken into custody the following day. The boy reportedly messaged the woman to meet him only to be arrested by the waiting authorities.
During an interview with investigators, the 37-year-old woman reportedly admitted to having se-ual relationship with the boy. The woman was taken into custody and is being held on $100,000 bond. The local police department released a statement, saying that detectives believe there may be additional victims.
