Eugene Springfield Fire crews responded to house fire on Parker Ave, no injuries reported
Eugene, OR – According to the statement, Eugene Springfield Fire crews responded to a house fire on the 1200 block of Parker Ave.
The fire was reported at 10:04 PM on August 19th by local residents who noticed the blaze.
Firefighters from Station 4 on 5th St arrived within 4-1/2 minutes to find heavy flames coming from the garage, spreading to the attic.
Crews quickly attacked the fire and conducted a search of the home, confirming that all occupants had safely exited.
It took about 20 minutes to bring the fire under control, with crews staying on scene for two hours to extinguish remaining hot spots.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
