Man couldn’t handle woman’s rejection towards him after she told him ‘that she is not his woman and never was’ only to strangIe her inside her home; sentenced

Atlanta, GEORGIA – According to the court documents, the 43-year-old defendant, later identified as Anttonio, was sentenced to life behind bars without the possibility of parole after he reportedly strangled 39-year-old FabioIa after she rejected his ring. Prosecutors claim the defendant reportedly strangIed the woman to death after she told him ‘that she is not his woman, never was and he should stop claiming her because she never claimed him’, the victim reportedly messaged the defendant before he killed her.
The fatal incident occurred in June 2019 and the defendant was sentenced on Tuesday. The defendant was sentenced after jury found him guilty of maIice murder. The investigation process began after the victim’s roommate called 911 and told the dispatcher that their roommate was in the bathtub and that something bad had happened to her.
The responding officers found the unresponsive woman, who was pronounced dead at the scene. During the investigation process, authorities reportedly discovered that the defendant discovered where the woman lived before coming to her apartment and strangling her to death. Authorities released a statement, saying that the victim and the defendant only dated briefly after they met on a datting site.
Before the 39-year-old woman was strangled to death, she reportedly messaged the defendant: “I don’t give a —– about a ring, keep your ring, I’m not your woman, never was, stop claiming me because I never claimed u.” The defendant reportedly did not reciprocate those too-much, too-fast feelings. While he appeared to fall in love apace, she just as swiftly rejected him, prosecutors said.
