Ex-boyfriend arrived at a celebration, armed and unlnvited, only to fatally shoot several people ‘because he just saw what he saw on social media and he was jealous about something’

Louisville, KY – According to the police officials, this unfortunate incident occurred right before 3 a.m. early Saturday morning. The responding officers discovered that the shooter, later identified as 21-year-old Chasse. Police officials later revealed that the suspect, who later died from self-inflicted gunshot wound, reportedly arrived at the victim’s home unlnvited only to open fire and shoot 7 people, leaving 4 dead and 3 seriously injured.
During the investigation process, authorities discovered that the shooter arrived at the victim’s residence, 44-year-old MeIissa, while she was throwing a brthday party for her son. The shooter, who was not invited to the party, but did know those celebrating, arrived on scene only to commit the crime. Per reports, neighbors provided security footage to authorities which reportedly shows the suspect walking around before the shooting.
Shortly after the shooting, the 21-year-old man fled the scene only for officers to locate him and initiate a traffic stop. He then drove his vehicle into a ditch. The responding officers quickly discovered that the shooter was suffering from self-inflicted gunshot wound. He was rushed to the hospital, where he later died.
The local news outlet, FOX19, reportedly spoke with one of the victim’s mother, who reportedly said that she heard the shooter was at the party because his former girlfriend was there. “I guess he just saw what he saw on social media and he was jealous about something,” the woman reportedly said. The police officials have not yet released an officials motive for the killings. This incident remains under investigation.
