YWFC continued to push boundaries and build confidence as participants faced live fire scenarios
Eugene, OR – According to the officials, the camp’s resilient young women applied their hose management skills to real fires, demonstrating remarkable courage and teamwork.
Today’s activities included rappelling solo off a three-story building and climbing an aerial ladder six stories high.
The young participants, guided by experienced women firefighter mentors, successfully extinguished a live car fire.
Throughout the day, the young women supported and cheered each other on, showcasing their growing confidence and solidarity.
“We’re incredibly proud of how far these young women have come,” said a camp spokesperson. “Their determination and fearlessness are truly inspiring.”
The camp continues to empower participants, proving that no challenge is too great for these determined young women.
