Babysitter arrested and accused of child sex abuse in Eugene

A 24-year-old who worked as a babysitter in Eugene has been arrested and charged with Sex Abuse in the First Degree over the weekend, according to the Eugene Police Department.
Eugene Police responded to a report of possible sex abuse involving a minor victim and Christian Camilo Galindo, age 24, of Eugene.
The minor victim is not related to Galindo. EPD Patrol initially responded and the case was turned over to EPD Violent Crimes Unit. Galindo was arrested on September 25 at 5:29 p.m. and charged with Sex Abuse in the First Degree.
EPD is concerned there may be other potential victims, as Galindo worked as a babysitter. If anyone has relevant information, they are asked to contact Detective John Jensen, Violent Crimes Unit, at 541.682.5162.
